Oh what the hell, I can’t wait until tomorrow. We’ve got a terrific new set coming up and I want to share it with you right away! Kato’s going for more of a “classic” feel with this set, and I think you’ll find the mix of timeless beauty and smoldering sensuality to be downright amazing.
"The Parlor", featuring Kato, debuts on SteamGirl.com this Saturday!
Well now, it seems my enthusiasm for this photo set is matched by all of you. Glad to hear it! I think you’re all going to enjoy this week, and here’s yet another reason why!
So, interesting thing about parlors. As Wikipedia says:
Parlour derives from the Old French word parloir or parler (“to speak”), and entered English around the turn of the 13th century. In its original usage it denoted a place set aside for speaking with someone, an “audience chamber”.
More than a little ironic, since anyone who walked into a parlor and saw Kato like this would be positively speechless.
Now those of you fast enough to buy Kato’s 2014 calender may find some of these photos a little familiar. That’s because one of the months featured a photo from this set! Of course, if you want to see the whole calender I’m afraid you’re out of luck, but if you want to see the rest of these photos, that just takes a membership for our fair site!
Let’s face it, with a photo like this, you’re not reading what I’m saying. Blingle blongle dingle dangle. I’m the rabbit king of Neptune and cauliflower has a sinister third purpose. But, just in case you are reading this…
Oh yes, this is going to be a fun one.
Those of you who have seen the photo sets on the bonus page are quite familiar of the small vacation spot in the woods that Kato likes to visit to get away from it all, but now we finally have a steampunk-themed set to join them. And trust me, it only gets better
People often ask where this little vacation spot is that Kato likes to visit now and then. Well to get there is
rather difficult because the house is actually kept within a pocket dimension of time and space, and even perceiving the house is greatly difficult if not impossible unless you know the way to get there. In many respects it’s like the mythical island of Fincayra in T.A. Barron’s “The Lost Years of Merlin” books, including the talking sentient trees and other intelligent wildlife, which now that I think about it may reflect on me being a rabbit. Maybe this goes deeper than I thought.confidential information, as Kato wants to keep the place open and available for future photo shoots.
There’s lots to do in the woods when you’re trying to relax. For example, we’ve seen Kato do some hiking, enjoy a nearby river, explore the forest, and even have some fun on a nearby swing. But sometimes all you really want to do is relax by the back porch and enjoy the view. Fortunately, when it comes to “enjoying the view”, that can be said of all SteamGirl.com photos.
Also, I’m happy to announce that the SteamGirl Tumblr page now has 13,000 followers! Thank you all, and let’s make it to 14,000 and beyond!
